While serving with the Marines in Afghanistan, Zach was wounded after stepping on an IED. After almost two years of extensive surgeries and rehab he is now training for a spot on the 2028 US Men’s Paralympic Team.

While Tesa plays an active role in supporting Zach’s Olympic dreams, Zach played an active role in bringing one of her visions to life.
